    Price increase may be a deal breaker

    As a parent it can be difficult weighing the options of better quality cereal versus the cost. There are MANY brands out there with a higher tag, and unfortunately this one seems to be getting closer to being unattainable for many people and families. The price increase from $3.99, to $4.99, to a whopping $5.69 and change of packaging is going to hurt sales and push away loyal customers to justifying higher prices for even BETTER brands. This is really disappointing as it’s one of my kids’ favorite cereals and target was always dependable in having it in stock and at a reasonable price.

    Price increase less product

    My family loves this cereal and we have been buying it from Target for years but they recently decreased the amount in the package and significantly increased the price. I was paying $3.99 a box and last time I purchased it, it was $6.99 a bag. They have changed the packaging and increased the price. I have 4 kiddos, including 2 teenage boys. The cost of this product it just not sustainable. I am sad to loose another organic option but we won’t be purchasing until the price comes down.

    Noticing the price for the new bag package has decreased. My children love this cereal but when they changed packaging and increased price significantly it was a turn off but I still purchased. Now that price came down I have very very happy!

    delicious, crunchy and certified gluten free

    My kids love this cereal! You can taste the chocolate without it being overly sweet. The texture and crunch are perfect and they take a long time in milk before getting soggy. My children loved this before my daughter was diagnosed with celiac disease, and we were happy and relieved that it's certified gluten-free and have had no problems since she went on a GF diet!!! We love the Panda Puffs too. The new packaging for this cereal allows for a fuller bag that was released a couple weeks ago, in June 2026 - so previous compliant about that had been resolved!

    They taste amazing!

    I understand all the negative reviews come from people being upset over the price change, but at the end of the day compared to any other healthy cereal I think the price is still fair. And it’s unfortunate that everything nowadays has to cost more but we shouldn’t point the blame to one company. The cereal is absolutely delicious. I’m grateful that it’s an option for me to purchase because it taste better than most of the other healthy cereals and it helps chimpanzees. A good cause a good flavor and good ingredients. What more could you ask for?
