These frozen green beans are perfect for adding some green to pot roasts, grilled chicken, salmon and more. They’re a good source of vitamin C, and have no added preservatives. Enjoy with herbs and butter for a mouthwatering side dish.DirectionsNeeds to be fully cooked. Keep frozen until ready to prepare.For food safety, cook to 165°F until hot throughout. Appliances may vary; adjust cooking time accordingly.Refrigerate or discard leftovers immediately.MicrowaveDo not puncture or open before microwaving.1. Place unopened bag THIS SIDE UP in microwave oven. Evenly distribute vegetables inside. 2. Microwave on HIGH for 5 1/2 minutes or until hot.**3. Let stand 1 minute.  Bag will be hot; lift from corners.  Open carefully. **Directions developed for 1100 watt microwave ovens. Cooking in ovens of lower watts will require additional time.Stovetop1. Combine beans and 1/2 cup water in medium saucepan.2. Bring to a full boil over HIGH heat; cover. Reduce heat to MEDIUM.  3. Cook 7 to 8 minutes or until hot, stirring occasionally. Drain.     Overall not bad I guess but I would never buy again. Had weird stems in the bag and I'm not talking small they were fairly large pieces I thought my bag of green beans was mixed with pieces of celery stalk. Anyway just didn't taste the best either.

    Decent, fresh and colorful beans! I prefer fresh but these work in a pinch if you don'y mind a texture difference. Steam bag is convenient. Very little water left after steaming which is good. Flavor lacks slightly with frozen always. That's ok.

    Bad Green Beans Full of Hard Stems

    The price was great for the size of Good and Gather vegetables and in the past the taste was good too.. Now you get what you pay the cheap price for these green beans contain lots of hard stems, weird taste, and a large portion of are bad. I’m usually a big fan of them but now they are so terrible I would like to give them zero stars but that option isn’t available.

    I used these to make green bean casserole, and they turned into stringy mealy mush. That's never happened to me before with any other brand of frozen beans. Maybe these turn out ok when steamed but apparently not for baking.

    Shrinkflation!

    I could tell when I picked these up they felt too light. The packaging states that there are 4 servings of 3/4 cup but there were only 2 cups on the bags I recently purchased. I cooked for the regular time on the package and they were overdone. Do they really think we don’t notice when we are being played? If you are going to shrink the portions change the package to match.
