New improved is useless
New and improved Did not stick to underwear properly! Absorbed nothing and leaked around underwear. Your original product was good and did the job. Your new improved is garbage. I will need to seek other brands. Good job you have lost a customer for good!

New design sucks
I do NOT like the new flimsy gaurd design. I was fine with the way they were. These get out of place and create accidents. If its not broke don't fix it. I may be shopping for a different brand of pad if this is the best you will provide.

Not near as absorbent as the old, very disappointing you had a good product and ruined it. I bet it was changed because there is a bigger profit margin with these. Time to check out your competition

Worst redesign of a product ever!
I liked these at first, thinking they developed a new, thinner absorption material. Wrong! The new half absorbency version of the product is a complete rip off. It allows only small drips. Any runs to the bathroom are inevitably too late now. I've had several days when I've gone through three sets of pads and underwear and sometimes pants as well. They are totally misrepresented as Maximum protection and the FTC should fine them.. They might as well be on the women's section under light pads. I won't be buying a Depends product ever again.

Works as expected

What were you thinking?
Why did you change a good product so drastically for the worse? Your new style of Guards are about as useful as stuffing a paper towel down my pants. They are too thin and small to stay in place or to ensure adequate coverage. For me, they don't stick well to the underwear and they practically ball up. Please bring back the old style or refer me to a competitor that isn't as progressive.

Very disapointed
I am very disappointed with the new Depend Men Guards with Max Coverage. They are narrower and less absorbent. I have switched to another brand while waiting for Depend to realize their mistake. Please bring back the previous product: Depend Fresh Protection Guards for Men

No confidence in the newly designed men’s pads. I’ve been a Depends user for over 20 years and the new design is awful. Doesn’t hold nearly as much as the old style. I’m looking for a replacement for my Depends pads. Sorry you had to change a previously good product.

I have to agree with most of the reviews,in that the old product was better. I need to change 3-4 times a day with the new ones. Plus they do not stay in place. Maybe the odor control is better. But when the new ones leak it becomes very embarrassing

Poor absorbency!
Very little change in comfort, perhaps a bit less bulky but also much less absorbent. The new style leaks and must be changed more often. Very inconvenient.

New was not better
I have been using Depend Guards for many years. The new "upgrade" was actually a downgrade in my opinion. Yes they are thinner but the absorbency is not like the old guards. The new pads get saturated quickly. There have been several days that I have had to change the guard mid day to prevent leakage. I will continue to use these guards until I am able to find another company that makes a similar product to the old guards.

Thumbs down graphic, would not recommend

The redesign makes them useless
I purchased these for my dad, he's been complaining that they seemed thinner and not absorbent anymore. I hoped I had found the ones he liked here, but it's the same. People rely on these and this redesign has made life difficult and embarrassing for a lot of people. I really hope you'll go back to the old ones, I doubt anyone will be buying the new ones.

Mens Guards were modified and not as absorbant
Mens Depends Guards were modified and are not as good as original. I have used about half of 52 pkg. and had them leak 4 or 5 times. This did not happen with the original version. The new version is thinner and NOT leak proof. The original version was much better and I didn’t have this issue. I will go back to Assure pads that are not as good as Depends original but much better than the new Depends pads. You need to bring back the original Depends pads.

Don’t like at all
Number one I bought this product because I’ve been using it for years. I have lost cancer a younger age. Do not like the new pad plus when buying online still shows the original pad. I’m stuck with a whole double box because I didn’t open it in time bought it again opened it. I am returning it. Do not like them. They leak they move. Don’t hold me in place. So I am buying a different brand.

Not a good product
The new pads are not good for large surges. The old pads were perfect. I understand that Depends was trying to use technology and make them smaller, but did you really check how well they worked with actual people? So disappointed. I have got to find some better guards somewhere.

Bring Back the Old Guards
Where can I buy the old style of Guards. I hate what you have done to the product. It is less absorbent. It doesn't fit properly. I have to change it more often, and it is not comfortable. Bring back the old style.

Not fitting or holding as good as the old style.
This product does not fit like the original ones the ones I paid for but every month at least once a month This is not what I'm looking for and the product that I need the original ones the maximum ones for some reason the price is went up and they are not on the shelves is available as the other ones that I can't use right they don't fit right they don't cover as much and they don't hold as much as I need them toCan you go back to the old one
