Conair 2-n-1 Slick Back Boar Bristle Hair Styling Brush

The bristles on this are not high quality. They bend and break easily, and they hurt my scalp. This brush also doesn't slick hair back the way it claims to. It just goes right over the top of the hair without actually doing anything to it except being uncomfortable on my skin. No thanks. I'll stick with more expensive higher quality brushes.

I deal with flyaways when it comes to my hair and this along with a hair gel I use helped contain them and made my hair feel and look more shiny and smooth. This brush is also good for styling your hair by parting your hair with the pointy (not sharp at all) end at the bottom of the brush. I also like that the brush makes it to where it distributes your natural hair oils throughout your hair. The bristles on both of them are very smooth feeling and dont feel rough or thick at all. They also feel like they will last awhile if treated gently. The brush doesn’t feel heavy at all and is very lightweight. I also like that the brush is not that big and doesn’t that up a lot of space on a counter or cabinet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The conair slick brush is so great! It helps tame all the baby hairs in both my daughters and my hair when we’re doing updo hairstyles. The spoolie at the end is a great finishing touch as well. Definitely recommend!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was not useful to me. I understand it was more for styling, but it didn’t do much for my thick hair. On the first use, the taming wand came unglued from the end and got stuck in the handle. So I had to use tweezers to pull it out. Inconvenient for a product that is supposed to be portable. I understand the purpose of this product and I like its compact design, but unfortunately it did not perform for me.

The bristles are soft and gentle and actually works better than a more expensive brush I own. I also really like the taming wand for blending in my root cover up spray on grey hairs. The sectioning tool is also nice bonus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The twist part of the brush was great for the hairline it gripped it well and you could style the fine hair against the face so it was tapered to lay down against the edges of the hair. It was also useful to comb the fine baby hairs on your neck!

It does a great job smoothing flyaways and creating sleek ponytails and buns without pulling or snagging my hair. The bristles are gentle on the scalp but firm enough to smooth everything down and leave my hair looking polished and shiny. It's lightweight and easy to hold and works well on both mine and my kids Hair. For the price it's a great little styling tool and has quickly become part of my everyday routine. Highly recommend for anyone who loves a smooth, slicked-back look

I think i just don't have the right hair type for this hairbrush. I thought it would work well for me, because I have very thin hair, but it's probably suited better for someone with extremely short hair. Or would work well for a child's hair. Even with pressing my hair between the brush and my other hand, it wouldn't brush into my hair. It is a very sturdy construction though, and I like that it's got a grip type surface on parts of the handle. I could probably use the detachable taming wand for my brows😅.

It’s smooth, light weight and those bristles glide through my hair without pulling or snagging. It definitely gives that sleek, polished look. I really like the detachable taming wand hidden in the handle. Wasn’t sure how much I’d use it but it’s actually super handy for those little baby hairs around my face. I’ve used it on both dry and slightly damp hair and it works great either way.

I use it for myself and my daughters especially now that it's so hot to create perfect ponytails, I also noticed that it helps control frizz.

It made getting a super slick, smooth ponytail so easy and I love that it has a mini taming wand in the bottom that you simply just screw off and on. The handle itself feels super comfortable in your hand allowing you to really just focus on getting your hair slicked back. I also really enjoy the bristles, they’re firm enough to get that hold in your style but flexible enough that you’re not ripping through any baby hairs. Overall I really enjoy this brush and will definitely be using it from now on for all slick back looks!
